10TH INTERNATIONAL HYDROGEN & FUEL CELL MEETING

The 10th International Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Conference Exhibition and Partnering will be hosted at Millenium Point  in Birmingham, UK, where there will be more space to exhibit vehicles.

The conference will be a major forum for the new Horizon 2020 programme for EU projects : generating novel ideas for innovations and creating new consortia making bids.

IET HYDROGEN AND FUEL CELLS UPDATE

Nigel Holmes, CEO of the Scottish Fuel Cell Association (SHFCA),and Deputy Chair for the Transport Group of Scotland’s 2020 Climate Group, will describe fuel cells and examples of their application in the UK and worldwide, their advantages and potential disadvantages. Also included will be hydrogen production and storage, and the use of hydrogen for land and marine transport and the use of hydrogen from renewable sources for energy storage and load balancing. This is particularly topical as Aberdeen are due to get Hydrogen Buses in 2014.
